To talk to someone…

People come to counselling for all sorts of reasons. Maybe you are living with anxiety or depression. Maybe you feel lost and lonely, or you are struggling to cope with grief or change. Perhaps, you are looking for someone to talk to without fear of judgement, someone who will listen to you with empathy.

The core of my approach to therapy is person-centred counselling. Person-centred counselling means treating every client as an individual and letting them lead the therapeutic process. It means you will have the space and the time to explore your challenges, fears and aspirations without being pigeon-holed or diagnosed. But you won’t be alone; I will be there with you.

Taking the first steps in the counselling journey can be scary and uncertain. Even if you have prior experience with psychotherapy, building a trusting relationship with a counsellor can still feel difficult. I understand how precious and delicate the client-counsellor relationship is, and will be by your side right from the start, helping you take those steps.
